Amanda Williams Elected Chair of the NSHN Foundation Board of Directors
The North Shore Health Network Foundation (NSHNF) is proud to announce that Amanda Williams has been appointed as the new Chair of the Board of Directors. Amanda brings a wealth of experience in leadership, innovation, and strategic operations that will help guide the Foundation’s vision to ensure healthcare will always be within reach.
The role of the NSHN Foundation’s Board of Directors is to provide leadership, direction, and support to Foundation staff, and drive strategic partnerships to help raise funds vital to the health care needs unique to the residents of the NSHN catchment area. Amanda’s leadership will be helpful in shaping the Foundation’s initiatives, fostering donor engagement, and driving fundraising efforts to support the North Shore Health Network sites (Blind River, Thessalon, and Richards Landing-Matthews). The Foundation would also like to extend our deepest gratitude to Joanne Falk for her dedication and leadership during her tenure as Chair.
As a Senior Director at RBC in Technology and Operations, Amanda leads tech support strategies that serve over 90,000 employees. Her focus on innovation, efficiency, and user experience has resulted in transformative solutions such as AI chatbots and skills-based routing, driving cost-saving initiatives for the bank. With more than a decade of experience in the industry, Amanda’s expertise in operational excellence will be an invaluable asset to the NSHN Foundation.
Beyond her professional achievements, Amanda is deeply connected to Northern Ontario. She enjoys fishing, relaxing at her lakeside property, and spending quality time with her husband, Ian, and stepdaughter, Teagan.
