The NSHN Foundation Board of Directors is a group of individuals who devote their time, energy, and skills to make an impact on local health care.

The Board sets the Foundation's strategic direction and oversees all activities. They review NSHN's medical equipment requests and evaluate the Foundation's financial position to ensure our communities have sustainable access to quality local health care. Directors also assist with fundraising efforts, providing both direct and indirect support.

GET INVOLVED


The duties and responsibilities of a Director include but are not limited to: 

  • Act with honesty, integrity, and work in the best interest of the Foundation

  • Oversee all activities of the Foundation

  • Support and participate in fundraising events

  • Give vision to the organization and set organizational goals

  • Authorize expenditures, financial investments, and contracts

  • Attend regular Board meetings, which typically occur once per month with the exception of July and August
